Only a few more days in California

o

Last week was hot and I spent a lot of time at the pool. I also went to the park a lot and got full of sand each time, which meant I had lots of baths too. Daddy took me to play in the park the last two Fridays also. The first one was my favorite. It was Henny Penny. There was lots of singing. and I got meet Mommy's yoga teacher afterwards. We also we to the city on Saturday to see Wade one last time before moving back to Minnesota. We ate pancakes and then played at Golden Gate park. It was so much fun that I slept on the drive back to Mountain View. My toys are now packed in boxes and slowly our furniture is being sold off. I am excited to see the yellow house and to stay with Mimi & Bapa again for 2 weeks. I will miss our apartment, the swimming pool, the dumplings at Sushi Tomi, the rice and beans at the butty butt restaurant (La Feista- the sign has a picture of a man's pants being pulled down in back by a ragging bull) and the farmer's market.

Lazy Monday...

Today Mommy made me a fort and I hung out in it for about an hour. I ate soy crisps and apples. I also watched Cinderella. Later we went to Stanford Shopping Center. I was a good girl so I got to go to Sprinkles and pick out my very own cupcake.

Sunday Farmers Market

Chocolate chip cookies (on face) and raspberries (on finger) = Mountain View Farmer's Market bliss

Today I went to two farmers markets. First in Mt. View and then in Palo Alto. After the markets, we went to the park to play in the sand. In an hour, mommy is going to yoga and I am going to go for a run with daddy. Woo hoo! Hoorray!

Discovery Museum in San Jose to see Curious George!

Today we went to see Curious George at the Discovery Museum in San Jose. We met Wade and his mommy and daddy there. I loved the machine that made the balls float in the air. I also liked the carriage because it made me feel like the princesses in my books. I played with bubbles and got all soapy. Then we took a break and drove to get some yummy Mexican food. Then back to the museum to the water exhibit, where Wade and I got all wet. Before we left I got to meet George. I gave him a high five. I got 2 new George DVDs to always remember my visit to meet him in San Jose. When I got home I watched one the DVDs from start to finish. What a fun day!
