My first sunset

Tonight I watched the sunset. The trees just swallowed it up. It was a brilliant orange color. I wanted "more" sunset after it went away.

My trip to the apple orchard

Today we all went to the apple orchard. Like my book "Sally Goes to the Farm" says, we drove for miles and miles. We started off the morning with an apple cinnamon donut. It was delicious! Then we got on a wagon pulled by a loud tractor. It was a bumpy ride. They dropped us off in the middle of the orchard. We pulled the apples off the trees and we even got to snack on them while we picked them. We walked back after picking our apples and saw horses. We checked out the petting zoo also. It was so cool. I loved the baby goats. There was lots of poop on the ground though- yikes. I can't wait to go back!

Minnesota Zoo

Today we went to the Minnesota Zoo. It was my first trip to that zoo. I really wanted to see the monkeys. I saw a big bear too. Sadly, no giraffes at this zoo! I will have to wait until I go to Arizona again to see them. Mom and Dad said we got a membership, so I guess that means we get to go back soon!
