Fun Family Day

Today Mommy & Daddy took me to an event sponsored by The Current (a Minnesota Public Radio station) at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.  It was called "Rock The Cradle".  I got to go to a baby disco and dance with my Daddy.  They had a cool disco ball and fun colored lights that flashed.  I got to hear a story being told by a D.J. and I went to the Instruments Petting Zoo, where I got to touch musical instruments.  I played the drums and a guitar.  There were SO many kids there.  Next year it will be even more fun!!!

Play date with Gavin

Today we met Gavin and Heidi at an indoor park in Edina.  It was nice to see trees with green leaves.  The park wasn't really for little people like us... but next year we will have lots of fun there.  We got to see some water fountains and that made us both really happy.  I had so much fun that I had to take a nap afterwards!

Go Wolves!

I got to help cheer the T-Wolves onto their SEVENTH (yes 7th) victory of the year!  It was lots of fun this time- I didn't even cry.  I danced to the music and clapped my hands when people cheered.  I like sitting in the suites- there is a lot more room to dance and move around.  Go Wolves!!!

Fun new place to play

My Mommy joined the Calhoun Beach Club today so that she could have some "alone" time (whatever that means).  I don't mind though because they have the coolest toys ever there.  I really like the girls that work in the childcare too.  There is one that is already my favorite.  I am so happy to see her when Mommy drops me off.  I can't wait until tomorrow.  I wonder what new toys I will discover...

*milestone updates*

The week between Christmas and New Years I started eating solid foods.  I really like smoked turkey and sweet potatoes.

January 15 I successfully climb up the basement stairs all by myself (Mommy was close behind).

January 17 I pointed to Grandma Susan and Mommy noses when asked where they were.

My first swim class

I took my first swimming class today.  Daddy got in the water with me.  I really liked it.  I was so excited before class started.  I was talking and kicking my feet.  During the lesson I got to float on my back, jump in off the raft, float with a floaty bar and go under water and swim from the teacher to Daddy.  I can't wait until next week.

Riding in the car (again)

Mommy and Grammie wanted to take lots of car rides after Daddy and Grampee left.  Today we are off to see model homes.  Luckily I got to stop and play a fun park.  I will upload those pictures once Grammie sends them to my Mommy.

Finally a park that has stuff for me!  All the parks by Grammie's house only had climbing stuff and slides- no fun for a little tyke like me but this park is awesome. They even had baby swings.  I wish we could have stayed longer!!! 

Enjoying the weather in Arizona

I like the weather here.  I was helping Daddy enjoy the weather before he has to leave and go back to MN for work.  I liked pulling all the rocks out of rock garden.  Grampee had to put them all back for me.

New Year's Day

Grammie and Grampee had a party to celebrate New Year's Day this morning. I made an appearance and then went off to play and nap with my Mommy & Daddy. Later in the day I helped my Daddy cheer on the Trojans to a victory in the Rose Bowl. GO TROJANS!
